Cerrojo Mannlicher SBS (Safe Bolt System)

The SBS Lock developed and patented by STEYR MANNLICHER, is the safest concept of global lock. In case of shooting a cartridge with overpressure or if there is a blockage in the cannon, the user is always protected from any physical damage that could be caused by exhaust of gases or mechanical breakages.

Features of the lock:

1 - Waste canning:

Special acanalatures made in the body of the lock ensure a reliable lock even in extreme conditions of ice or mud.

2 - Percutory Needle:

At the back of the lock the back of the needle when the weapon is mounted, so you have visual and touch control of the state of the weapon.

3 - Locking of the lock:

The SBS closure tetons by design are extremely strong and close directly behind the cartridge ass on the frame.

4 - Lock manet:

The lock manet can be folded and blocked over the mechanism drawer.

5 - Security box:

Only the SBS system uses an additional safety cap that completely encapsulates the tetons and the extractor. Consequently the user is fully protected against any gas exhaust with overpressed cartridges that can be fired without knowing it.

(B) Fire position. At the time before shooting, the wheel turns forward to the position of fire, until marked with a red point.

(C) Lock position. It allows to fold the lock on the frame and the percutory needle is blocked. In the hair triggers this is automatically deactivated in this position.
