RIFLE RUGER AR-556® Free-Float Handguard 300 BLK

The AR-556, 300 AAC BLK caliber firefighter, brings a cold-forged 16.10" (408mm.) long, with a thread index of 1.7”, mouth-brained thread and a compact gas system to operate reliably with both the lightest supersonic hunting munitions and heavy subsonic munitions.

The rifle also features an 11" (279mm) aluminum floating ranger with Magpul M-LOK® accessories slots and a standard pistol grip for easy customization by the user. The dust cover and the metal charger are marked with the caliber for easy identification of both the rifle and the ammunition.

Other features include a six-position telescopic canopy, a pistol-type grip for a larger grip, a large trigger protector and a metal charger capable of 10 bullets. Standardized M4/AR components are used throughout the weapon, so AR-556 can be easily customized.

Features:

The 11" (279mm.) long aluminum guard floats freely for greater accuracy and features Magpul M-LOK® fixing slots along 3, 6 and 9 positions with additional slots on the face at angle near the barrel's mouth.

The top-floor frame features a Picatinny lane to easily connect an optical viewer, a red dot or open look.

Manufactured with anodized aluminum forged parts with hardened coating 7075-T6, steel lock 9310 rounded and tested for bullets, and steel lock holder 8620. The inner diameter of the carrier and the gas key are chromed. The gas system is completely stagnant for greater durability.

The single-stage trigger provides reliable and safe shot control. The enlarged trigger protector is designed to allow shooting with gloves.

The six-position M4 telescopic cane and the Mil-Spec protective tube allow the rifle to have the right size for different shooters or different levels of outer clothing.

Equipped with a chromium-molybdenum steel barrel 4140 forged in cold and thick contour with ultra-precise grinding that provide exceptional precision, long service life and simple cleaning.

M4 power ramps provide greater reliability and matt black oxide finish reduces dazzlement and provides corrosion resistance.

The ergonomic pistol-style grip features an extended trigger range for a more precise control of it.

Manufactured with 7075-T6 forged aluminum of aerospace grade, the flat top frame has a front assistance, anti-dust cover and a brass deflector.

It includes a metal charger with capacity for 10 rounds.
